The printed notation on the mouthpiece in the hand of Angelo Dundee speaks volumes about the historical significance of this piece: Muhammad Ali last mouthpiece. That says a lot and presumably enough, linking the excellent condition and problem-free mouthpiece to Ali's last bout with Trevor Berbick in 1981, with the 39-year-old Ali losing a 10-round unanimous decision that ended his legendary career.
