Hall of Famer Frank Ramsey was a college All American at Kentucky before playing nine seasons, and winning seven titles, with the great Boston Celtics. His fabulously designed complete warm-up was worn in the spring of 1954 when the college All Americans, which also included Cliff Hagan, Ray Felix, Walter Dukes, and Ernie Beck, toured America playing NBA clubs, All-Star assemblages, and other teams with religious affiliations or sponsorships. The jacket is a magnificent pearl white satin with zipper front and long sleeves. The shoulders and arms sport red, white, and blue striping and the half hood, is red and white satin-striped with royal blue satin edging. On the left chest is an "All American" patch with "1954" embroidered onto the top field. Made by Wilson, it sports the manufacturer's label in the collar with a blank cloth customization flap and a [size] "44" flag tag. The matching pants have a Wilson label with similar flap tagging and [size] "34" flag tag. Overall the use and condition can be described as outstanding, and together the set epitomizes the extraordinary play of the "Kentucky Colonel" himself.
