Nice pair of interesting early baseballs from before the turn of the century. Both are in nice condition for their age and display well.

1) Early two piece figure eight stitch baseball resembles the one in use today. Smaller in size ball measures about 2 1/2" in diameter and is about 8" in circumference. It has darkened and hardened over the years and displays several areas of wear to the cover.

2) Early, circa 1870's lemon peel baseball with four piece construction. Lemon peel style baseball remains fully intact with all original stitching. Ball measures about 2 3/4" in diameter and is about 9" in circumference. It has light surface wear and has darkened and hardened over the years.
