The field general for Cincinnati's mighty Big Red Machine, Johnny Bench was a two-time NL MVP, and one of the greatest power hitting catchers of all-time. Offered is Bench’s H&B signature model S222 game bat, measuring 35.5 inches and weighing 32.5 ounces with his number "5" written in red marker on the knob. Also noted on the knob is the bat’s weight in pencil. The bat is uncracked, with outstanding overall use including deeply imbedded ball marks, rack marks, cleat marks and a moderate application of pine tar on the handle. The bat has been signed "Johnny Bench" in blue marker on the barrel. A beautiful all-around example of a "prime-time" Johnny Bench game used bat with tremendous visual appeal.

Includes a LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (Graded GU9).

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (auto.).
