Muhammad Ali's British Boxing Board of Control Boxer's License, first obtained on January 6, 1963 for the fight against Henry Cooper in London of that year. The license was renewed for 1965-66, possibly in case an alternate site needed to be found for the much awaited Muhammad Ali - Sonny Liston rematch. In 1966-67 the license was again renewed for a rematch with Henry Cooper in May and a contest with Brian London in August. Nice 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" black & white photo of a young Ali attached to one side. License itself in outstanding condition. Also included is a receipt to Ali from the British Boxing Board of Control, dated 10/19/71, for "Two Pounds".
