Magnificent looking 1979 Manager of the Year Award given to Hall of Fame Trainer Angelo Dundee by the World Boxing Congress. Beautiful award is made in the design of an Aztec calender with colors applied to plastic to simulate cut tiles. It was patterned after the famous 25 ton "Sun Stone" discovered under the main square of Mexico City back on December 17th, 1760. Paper attached to the back explains what the various symbols mean. Circular award is 15 1/4" in diameter. A truly visually stunning piece!
