This is a companion piece to the amazing 22-lb., 26-inch bronze statue that honors Ozzie Smith for his on-field accomplishments and contributions to the broader community as a role model and volunteer. Just as in the case of the statue, the pewter 2 3/4-inch in diameter medallion is sculpted by George Lundeen, and an engraving mimicking the statue adorns the medallion, along with Lundeen's signature and the words "Branch Rickey Award 1994.". The reverse of the medallion has "The Branch Rickey Award, Ozzie Smith and Rotary Club International," along with the club's logo and motto "Service Above Self." Comes with a 28-inch red-white-and-blue ribbon and eyelet for the medallion. The entire piece is essentially as issued and problem free.
