It's all here for serious baseball fans and all immediately demanding your attention and admiration. The iconic Charles Martin Conlon photograph of the ferocious Ty Cobb barreling into third base, the instantly recognizable Cobb signature, applied with grace and flair to a dated piece of note paper where he also manages to include an inscription about his admiration for his fellow inaugural Hall of Fame class member Walter Johnson. Oh, yeah, and just to gild the lily a bit, a second spectacular Cobb signature at the end of the note. The 10-by-8-inch black-and-white Conlon classic is of course suitable for framing all by itself, but this one is dramatically enhanced as it rests atop a 6-by-7-inch 9/10 Cobb autograph crafted in his distinctive green ink. The inscription: "I consider Walter Johnson to be the greatest ever - over 400 games, very light hitting and not good fielding clubs back of him for many years. Respectfully, Ty Cobb." With tasteful gray matting and black frame, the overall dimensions end of at an imposing 13-by-18 inches.
