March 5, 1927 Honus Wagner signed personal check with a very strong 8/10 black fountain pen "John H. Wagner". Check itself has a 1 3/4" tear running diagonally from top center where a small piece is missing. 3/8" band of toning along right side with a small square at upper left corner, possibly from being placed in an album. SMR value for a Wagner check is $1,700.
