The legendary Green Bay Packers coach is nicely represented here in an attractive display of the Jan. 22, 1968, Sports Illustrated cover showing the coach being hoisted atop the shoulders of Packer players after winning their second consecutive Super Bowl. The 8 1/2-by-11-inch Sports Illustrated cover is presented in an intricately detailed yellow-and-gold mat directly above an 8-by-3-inch official Green Bay Packer team check that is signed by Vince Lombardi and made out to his son, Vince Jr. There appear to be no condition difficulties with the SI cover or check; creasing on the check is not easily discernible with the professional matting; the whole piece runs to overall glass-protected dimensions of 15-by-21 inches, with frame and matting seemingly in as-issued and problem-free condition.
