Here offered is a Louisville Slugger professional signature model bat used by "The Wizard" during the peak of his magnificent career. Turned during the 1983-1986 labeling period, this 34 inch white ash weapon hails from a span that saw Smith deliver his memorable circuit clout during the 1985 NLCS, prompting Cards announcer Jack Buck to advise, "Go crazy, folks!" With a pronounced centerbrand and barrel stampings, the lumber shows outstanding use, with ball, bat-rack, and surface marks throughout, as well as pine-tar residue about the handle, and a faint black marker notation of Smith's since-retired number "1" on the barrel end. Written on the knob end is his moniker “Oz” in black marker.

LOA from Ozzie Smith.
