Ozzie participated in a number of Olympic torch runs, and this was his own torch from the Winter Games in Salt Lake City in 2002. The torch is in Ex-Mt condition, save only for a bit of soot on the glass guard that indicates game use. The crystal at the top is not cracked or chipped. It weighs three pounds and is 32 inches long. It is between 3 1/4 and 3 1/2 inches wide at the top (oval) and 1/2 inch wide at bottom. The Torch is designed to look like a fiery icicle. The body is tapered with an antique silver finish and dark-shaded grooves that run about 16 inches down, with the Salt Lake City Logo, Olympic rings and "Salt Lake 2002" engraved on one side. The words "light the fire within," are etched into the front of the 13-inch bottom section, which is made from aluminum and plating to produce a high-polished chrome finish.
