This 35 inch, 33.8 ounce Hillerich & Bradsby model W183 Ted Williams professional model bat shows evidence of excellent use with a restoration to the handle. Several prominent ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Also visible on the bat are green bat rack streaks. The model number (W183) is stamped into the knob. This bat is part of a restoration project of game used bats that were used as the legs of bar stools (See accompanying photo). The stools were made up of authentic game used bats from players such as Yogi Berra, Ted Williams, Duke Snider, Mickey Mantle and several others. The legs of the stools were the barrels of the bat and the handles were the supporting cross members. The W183 knob is representative of the exact model ordered by Ted Williams during the referenced labeling period. Despite the restored handle element, the bats original usage traits are unaffected and quite exceptional. A Williams gamer from the heart of his career featuring superb overall display quality.

Includes a LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA.
