Reserve forward Gene Guarilia had the rare distinction of having won an NBA Championship in every year of his four-year NBA career. These were all with the Celtics, naturally, since there was no other opportunity for such a feat outside of Boston. Representing his first of those titles, Guarilia’s 1959-60 Boston Celtics Championship size 12 1/2 ring is cast in 10k gold and features “WORLD CHAMPIONS” encircling a basketball motif with a diamond in the center. The identical left and right shanks read “1960” above a shamrock in relief and a banner that reads "CELTICS." The inside of the ring is engraved with the player's name "G. Guarilia" and stamped "KOCH 10K." With the implication that Guarilia likely received only one ring, in spite of four titles (as was Red Auerbach’s standard), the ring shows some moderate to heavy wear, with all design elements still discernible. Weighs 26 grams.
Includes a LOA from Gene Guarilia.
