Very eye appealing complete set of all 10 baseball players from the beautiful 1887 N28 Allen & Ginter World's Champions tobacco series. All 10 have been removed from a vintage album with the backs receiving from very light to extensive back damage. The Bennett card is the only one to have extensive back damage and loss of text. The rest have very light back disruption, more of a staining, with all having most of, if not all the complete back text readable. However, due to this back damage when graded by PSA the cards received very low grades. Hence, after the given PSA grade conditions are given for the appearance of the FRONT OF THE CARD ONLY in parenthesis. The players are: Charles Bennett PR PSA 1 (VG+/VG-EX), John Ward(HOF) GD PSA 2 (EX-MT), Mike Kelly(HOF) GD PSA 2 (EX), John Clarkson(HOF) GD PSA 2 (EX-MT+), Tim Keefe(HOF) GD+ PSA 2.5 (EX+/EM), Joseph Mulvey GD PSA 2 (VG-EX), Cap Anson(HOF) GD PSA 2 (EM/NM), Jack Glasscock GD+ PSA 2.5 (EX/EX+), Bob Carruthers GD+ PSA 2.5 (EX-MT), and Charles Comiskey(HOF) GD+ PSA 2.5 (EX-MT). Good looking, very evenly matched set!
