Presented to Red by the Boston Press Photographers Association Inc., this large 13" by 19" trophy plaque represents their 1964 9th Annual Sports Personality Award. It features caricature art by Bob Coyne flanked by two figural media men. The plaque itself is in Excellent condition, however one of the figures has two broken arms. The award apparently held great meaning to Red as evidenced by the place of honor it held on the wall of his Boston office (see catalogue pgs. 60-61). Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate.
