Nice Boston Celtic ashtray from Red Auerbach's office. On bottom of ashtray is raised image of the Celtic leprechaun. 9" in diameter ashtray is in very good condition. Related photo showing ashtray sitting on table in Red Auerbach's office that Larry Bird is using to sign his first Boston Celtic contract is also included. Part of cork on bottom loose with about 15% missing. Ashtray a perfect match for pewter bookends (Lot #149). Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate.
