Ted Kennedy, "The Lion of The Senate" was not only a champion for civil rights and health care reform, Ted was also a serious sports fan. Backing all things Boston, Kennedy was often seen at Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox games. Senator Kennedy was a very close friend of Red Auerbach’s and spoke at his funeral. This vintage 8" by 10" photograph of Ted and Red has been inscribed, "To Red Auerbach, Always there when I need him, Ted Kennedy 1970". The black marker inscription rates 9 out of 10 while the framed photo itself appears to be about EX-MT. Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
