Type I International Newsreel photo of Hall of Famer Dave Bancroft, the "First Player Up In First Game of World Series". Caption on back reads "Photo shows Bancroft, the Giant shortstop, at bat---The first player up in the first game of the 1923 World Series. N-10-10-23" This would also be the first World Series at bat ever in Yankee Stadium. Photo in very food condition with clean front. Reverse also fairly clean. Caption appears to have come loose and has been re-taped with clear tape.
