Nice collection of items from the estate of Dudley Branom, long time minor league first baseman who played one season in the majors, 1927 with the Philadelphia Athletics.

1) Photo of the 1894 Garber, Oklahoma baseball team used in a vintage paper sometime after the fact. Players names are listed in the paper. On back in pencil has been written "First Baseball Team, Garber, Oklahoma" plus a list of the player names. Photo and mount appears to have been cut down from a larger size to the present 5" by 7". Severe corner wear to 3 plus a diagonal crease. Image remains sharp. The original paper in which the photo appeared is included.

2) Clear image of the circa 1920's Heavener Blues baseball team. 4 7/8" by 6 3/4" photo is mounted to a size of 6 7/8" by 10 7/8" size. Crease free. Sharp photo is undamaged but there is water staining around the mount.

3) Branom's signed 1927 Contract to play for the Athletics in 1927 for the sum of $6,000. Contract signed by Branom, American League President Ban Johnson(HOF) March 25, 1927 (8-9/10 quality), and two others. Program in decent shape with some light staining here and there. The two other signatures (both Schroeder) plus some of the other blue ink on page 2 (Johnson on page 4) has spread out somewhat and bleed through the rest of the contract. All in all, nice piece.

4) Beautiful Charles Conlon 6 1/2" by 8 1/2" original portrait photo of Branom in his Athletics uniform. Photo in Athletics uniform at first base.(lower right corner torn off. Pair of minor league photos of Branom, one batting and the other fielding.
