One of the key pieces from arguably the most beautiful card issue of the 19th Century, the offered Cap Anson card has outstanding eye appeal for the lesser technical grade. Strong color with good picture image and registration. Crease free. All four corners have very even corner wear. Centered toward the left. The front is very clean. Main reason for the grade is probably the surface wear to the back where in a few places the printing has been lightened. All in all, displays much better than the given grade from the front.
