This pair of boxing gloves were worn by World Boxing Hall of Fame member George Chuvalo in a firght against Willie McCormick on December 16, 1966. Chuvalo won the fight by knockout in the 3rd round. Manufactured by Hutch Cincinnati, U.S.A., these model D-12 gloves exhibit excellent wear. Both gloves are labeled in neatly written white paint with the left glove reading "George Chuvalo vs. Willie McCormick K. O. 3rd Round Labrador City Dec. 16th 1966" and the right glove reading, "Trained by Theodore McWhorter Managed By Irving Ungerman". These rare gloves would make a significant addition to any world-class collection of vintage heavyweight boxing memorabilia.
