Major League Baseball - Sport Magazine Award honoring 25 Years Of World Series Heroes given to St. Louis Cardinal pitching star Bob Gibson from his work in the 1964 and 1967 World Series. Gibson went 5-1 in those two Series and pitched clinching complete Game 7 victories in both. Wood base measures 13 1/2" by 8 1/2" with large piece of Lucite with ball at back engraved "World Series MVP 1955-1979". 1" cracks on both sides of top. Piece does not light up.(bulb?)
