Incredible lot of 3 NBA 50th Anniversary basketballs that have been signed by 40 of the 50 1996 NBA All-Time Greatest players in history. All of the autographs were obtained in person, either at shows, at basketball camps, or book signings. Autographs are strong 8/10 to 10/10 quality with all but one being black felt tip pen. (Shaq is in silver felt tip pen) Aside from the impossible Maravich, all the missing players are still alive. The signatures are:
Ball 1 - Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Isiah Thomas, Wes Unseld, Magic Johnson, Moses Malone, Oscar Robertson, Julius Erving, Nate Thurmond, Earl Monroe, Shaq O'Neal, Elvin Hayes, Bill Walton, and John Havlicek.
Ball 2 - Michael Jordan, Paul Arizin, Jerry Lucas, Dave DeBusschere, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Walt Frazier, Hal Greer, Hakeem Olajuwan, Bill Sharman, Sam Jones, Clyde Drexler, Bob Cousey, Kevin McHale, Robert Parrish, James Worthy, Nate Archibald, Dave Cowens, Charles Barkley, Rick Berry, and George Gervin.
Ball 3 - Dolph Schayes, Willis Reed, and a second Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. There is plenty of room on this ball to obtain the final 9 missing but still living players. They are: Scottie Pippen, John Stockton, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, Dave Bing, Billy Cunningham, Bob Pettit, and Lenny Wilkins.
Also included are an Upper Deck COA for Michael Jordon's signature obtained at his camp, and a number or show ticket stubs for signings including Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, and George Mikan.
The 3 balls come with a custom Plexiglas case which rotates to display all of the signatures.
