This beautiful 1950s New York Yankees heavy wool jacket and cap originate directly from the Casey Stengel estate. They were worn by Stengel's nephew who served as a Yankees bat boy for several years during the early to mid 1950s. Most of the youth sized jacket is in very good condition except the collar, cuffs, and bottom hem, which are all very heavily worn with fraying and holes. Tim McAuliffe manufacturing tag is still present on the interior. The accompanying Yankees cap features Tim McAuliffe manufacturer's tagging (size 6 7/8) and shows heavy usage wear. LOA from the Stengel family.
