This 17" x 20" advertisement for Cooper Tires is constructed of heavy paper stock and features a full body action batting pose of Yankee slugger Mickey Mantle in his home pinstripes. These displays were originally shipped to Cooper Tire retail dealers for display and by the nature of their environment typically suffered considerable wear. This remarkably well preserved example features a crisp black-and-white photo set against a bright yellow background. The piece shows minimal wear and appears to be unused based on the standee back having never been utilized. A small area of discoloration near the upper left corner has been professionally touched up. Displays in apparent NM condition.
