Issued at the height of Dizzy's dominance and popularity as the frontman for his "Gas House Gang" cohorts, this rare and graphically appealing 10-1/2" x 13-1/2" (visible area) advertisement was intended for newstand display. The cardstock ad entices viewers to purchase "Saturday's Daily News" with the promise of "Dizzy Dean In a Full Page of Photogravure". The framed piece appears to be in original, well preserved condition, projecting as EX-MT with no significant blemishes. Matted and framed to overall dimensions of approx. 15" x 17". A rare piece of Depression-era baseball advertising featuring one of the most enigmatic superstars of the era.
