New York Yankees pitcher Frank "Spec" Shea was known as "The Naugatuck Nugget" as a result of him being from Naugatuck, Connecticut, and was so named by Yankees broadcaster Mel Allen. His other nickname "Spec" was in reference to his freckles. This 9 3/4" x 13 1/4" cardboard display celebrates two "Connecticut Favorites" in Shea and Hull's Famous Beer. The colorful ad shows no significant wear, remaining fresh and colorful. Framed. Apparent NM condition.
