1926 World Series program issued for a game played at Yankee Stadium in New York between the New York Yankees and eventual World Champion St. Louis Cardinals. St. Louis won the exciting series 4-3 with Grover Cleveland Alexander saving the final game by striking out Hall of Famer Tony Lazzeri with the bases loaded late in the game to preserve a 3-2 victory. Interior pages remain fresh and have not been scored. At the bottom right corner there is a small pin hole the extends through the entire program. Front cover shows great wear and has separated from the spine. back page is still attached but both front and back show signs of a vintage tape repair. About G condition overall.
