Absolutely stunning original Napoleon Lajoie studio cabinet photo from the early 1900's. Crystal clear image of the Cleveland Indian Hall of Fame 2nd baseman. Every detail is visible, right down to the stick pin in his tie. Picture itself measures 4 7/8" by 7 7/8" with the original black mount being 8" by 11'. "Bushnelf Foto San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland" at lower left corner. Most of the black around the edge is still present. Some wear at the corners with the most severe being the two on the left hand side. One small hole in the upper right border. On back in pencil is "Napoleon Lajoie Manager Cleveland". Lajoie managed Cleveland from 1905 thru 1909. Also on the back are photographer's markings in pencil, including "Please return this photo as it is last one of this kind I have". That has been crossed out. Incredible piece!
