8/18/54 letter written to Cy Jones from the legendary Ty Cobb on his letterhead. Interesting letter in which Cobb asks Jones if Jones can set up a meeting between a young friend of Cobb's, a real "baseball bug and really expert on statistics", with New York Yankee and New York Giant players. Strong,8-9/10 Cobb green ink "Ty" signature. Original envelope also included. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
