11/17/52 letter written to Cy Jones from the legendary Ty Cobb on his small 4" by 6" letterhead. Brief letter in which Cobb tells Jones he does not have a ball to send out to Jone's friend but if he would send him one, he would gladly sign it. He advises Jones to send it to him at his Menlo Park address as he's leaving for the in 2 days. Strong, 9/10 appearing green ink "Ty" signature. Original envelope also included. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
