1911 World Series/Polo Grounds full ticket to Games 1, 3, and 5 of the World Series between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Athletics. Philadelphia defeated the Giants 4 games to 2. Christy Mathewson defeated Chief Bender 2-1 to take the opener. In game 3, Jack Coombs defeated Mathewson 3-2 in an exciting 11 inning contest that saw both pitchers go the distance. game 5 was another exciting contest as the Giants defeated the Athletics by scoring 2 in the 9th to tie before winning it if the bottom of the 10th 4-3. Ticket is unaltered and has been folded heavily across the center. The ticket has been punched for the first 2 of the 3 games. There is additional creasing but nothing that interferes with the paper surface. One of only 2 full 3 game tickets known. Slabbed FULL AUTHENTIC by PSA.
