1929 World Series Press Box Full ticket to Games 3, 4, and 5 between the Philadelphia Athletics and the Chicago Cubs, played at Shibe Park. The powerhouse Athletics won the World Championship by beating the Cubs 4 games to 1. Game 3 saw Guy Bush out duel George Earnshaw for the Cubs only victory, 3-1. Game 4 is remembered as one of the most exciting in World Series History. The Cubs held an 8-0 lead going into the bottom of the 7th. The Athletics stormed back with 10 runs in the inning to take the game 10-8. Game 5 saw Rube Walberg throw 5 1/3 scoreless innings of relief as the Athletics closed out the Cubs 3-2. Unaltered ticket has several creases, none of which cause damage to the gold colored paper surface. Moderate corner wear. Front and back both very clean. The numbers for a 3 games have been neatly punched. The only Full ticket or stub handled by PSA. Slabbed FULL AUTHENTIC by PSA.
