1913 World Series Full ticket to Game 1 between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Athletics held at the Polo Grounds. The Athletics took the Series 4 games to 1 to win the World Championship, their 3red title in 4 years. In Game 1 Home Run Baker had a home run and 3 RBI's to back up Chief Bender's complete game victory over fellow Hall of Fame pitcher Rube Marquard. Unaltered ticket has heavy crease at left side with tip of one corner missing. Rounding at other corners. At left side is heavy crease/tear? at center that appears to have been helped with tape at one time(now gone with just faint outline remaining) Left hand perforation also the same, with just the faint outline of where the tape was remaining.
