OAL(Brown) BB signed by the controversial pair of manager Billy Martin and owner George Steinbrenner, two men forever linked in New York Yankee history. Martin would be hired and fired 5 times as the Yankee manager by owner Steinbrenner. At the time of his death on Christmas 1989 in a car accident Martin was preparing to comeback yet again as manager of the Yankees in 1990. Nice 8/10 looking blue ink Billy Martin on the sweet spot with a similar 8/10 black ink George Steinbrenner on the side panel. Ball has been lightly shellacked. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
