After 18 years in the majors, Walter Johnson finally reached the World Series in 1924 as the Senators squared off against John McGraw's New York Giants. Johnson lost Game 1 in 12 innings 4-3 and went the distance in Game 5, only to lose once again. His moment to shine came in Game 7 as he came on to relieve at the top of the 9th and pitched the final four innings to give Washington their only World Series Championship in franchise history. Washington edition 36 page program is unscored and loaded with pictures of all the Washington players. The program is in very nice shape overall with the only flaw being that it was once folded down the middle.
