NM-MT PSA 8 Rookie card of Pittsburgh Pirate shortstop Dick Groat, the 1960 National League Batting Champ from the very difficult 1952 Topps High Number Series. The very talented Groat, who never played a day in the minors during his 14 year career, also played professional basketball in the NBA with the Fort Wayne Pistons. Good color and picture quality. Solid "8" corners. Clean front and back. Close to 50/50 top to bottom and a shade over 55/45 side to side. Only 6 cards have been graded higher by PSA.
