One of the most important cardboard debuts in the history of the hobby was executed by the Bowman Gum Co. in 1951 with the issuance of card #253. This example of Mickey Mantle's rookie card remains in nearly the same condition as it was when it was by produced by Bowman to coincide with Mantle’s arrival in the Big Apple. With strong corners, great image quality and a stain free back it has been graded 7 NM by GAI.
