Outstanding 6" by 8" original wire photo of Joe DiMaggio swinging the bat from his stellar 1936 Rookie Season. Text on the reverse reads "A Rookie who came thru. Joe DiMaggio, Rookie outfielder, with the American League Flag Winners, who is a sensation in his first major league season. He is second only to his teammate, Lou Gehrig, in the number of home runs". Dated 9/23/36. Overall about EX condition. Small area of white out at the upper left corner. Will look great framed and matted by itself or combined with a DiMaggio autograph.
