Beautiful signed sepia toned photo of the 28th President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson (December 28, 1856 - February 3, 1924). Wilson won the Presidency in 1912 as President Taft and former President Teddy Roosevelt split the Republican Party vote. He won re-election in 1916 in a very close election over challenger Charles Evans Hughes. His major accomplishments were the setting up of the Federal Reserve System, introducing the first income tax, and guiding the United States thru World War I. He won the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in forming the League of Nations after the war. Large 3 3/8" black ink signature is perfectly placed in the border right below the image and rates a near perfect 9/10. Photo has outstanding detail with an exceptionally clear image. Photo image is 7 1/2" by 10 3/4" surrounded by a 1 1/8" to 1 5/8" white border all around, making this the perfect candidate for professional framing and matting. Front is very clean with the back having small areas at all four corners and one side where the piece was attached to an album page and later taped into a vintage frame. They in no way reflect upon the front of the photo. LOA from PSA/DNA.
