Beautiful, almost 3 inch long blue ink signature on a typed signed letter of the 31st President of the United States, Herbert Hoover. Letter was written less than two weeks after his landslide victory over Democratic opponent New York Governor Alf Landon in the November 6, 1928 election. On his own letterhead from Stanford University California, dated November 19, 1928, Hoover has written "I am grateful for your kind message of November 7. I deeply appreciate your good wishes, and your expression of confidence is most encouraging." Strong 9-10/10 signature. Letter in NM-MT condition. Original mailing envelope also included.
