On February 22, 1980, one of the greatest upsets in Winter Olympic History occurred when the United States Hockey team, composed of only amateur and collegiate players, defeated the Soviet Union, considered to be the best international hockey team in the world, 4–3. The game was given the title as "The Miracle on Ice". Following up that victory the US went on to defeat Finland and take the Gold. The offered full unused ticket has been graded a NM 7 by PSA. Only 2 tickets have been graded higher by PSA.
