1981 will probably be more remembered for the strike shorted season and seemingly multitude of play-off series but the Dodgers did beat their long time rivals the new York Yankees when all was said and done. Beautiful 12' high by 7" in diameter miniature World Series trophy produced by Balfour and given to a limited number of Dodger players and team executives. Pennants representing all the teams by name in the league surround a gold crown above a silver baseball. Los Angeles Dodger and New York Yankee World Series press pins stand in front. Black base has gold band in front with "Los Angeles Dodgers World Championship Trophy " in black larger letters and "Presented By The Commissioner Of Baseball October 28, 1981" in smaller black letters on front. Near mint condition overall.
