Beautiful 1948-49 Ash Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger model number D29L 125 Joe DiMaggio game used bat. Bat measures 36" long and weighs in at 36 ounces. The bat shows evidence of light use, however the surface of bat had been refinished for display purposes about 18 years ago, obscuring much of the use that was originally on the bat. Some ball marks and ball depressions are still visible on the left barrel. Slight grain swelling is also visible from repeated ball contact. An examination of the top of the barrel gives a better impression of the game use that was once present. LOAs from both PSA/DNA (Malta/Taube) and MEARS (Grade A5).
