Oldest known Rose Bowl ticket either full or stub ever graded by PSA with nothing closer than a stub from 1927. Full ticket presents better than a VG-EX PSA 4 with slight surface wrinkle at right side and one very small, almost unnoticeable pin hole in the same area. 1921 would see a match-up of a pair of undefeated teams, California's "Wonder Team" at 8-0 and in the middle of a four year unbeaten string against the 7-0 Ohio State Buckeyes, fresh off their first Big Ten championship and playing in their first bowl game ever. Before a sellout crowd of 42,000 at Tournament Park, the Rose Bowl had not been built yet, the Golden Bears dominated the Buckeyes 28-0. Cal's Harold "Brick" Muller thru a trick 53-yard touchdown pass in route to taking game MVP honors. It would be almost 30 years before Ohio State would appear in another postseason bowl game.
