Block of 3 World Series full tickets to games 1, 2, and 6 of the 1924 World Series between the New York Giants and Washington Senators, played at Griffith Stadium in Washington, DC. 1924 would be Walter Johnson's first World Series appearance after 18 years in the majors. After trading victories the first 6 games Washington would win the hard fought 7 game series taking a 12 inning finale. Walter Johnson would get his only victory of the series with 4 innings of relief work in this extra inning contest. Block of tickets is crease free and very clean both front and back. The original color remains strong with excellent visual appeal. The only slight distraction are 4 3/16" punch holes evenly placed along the block on each game ticket in the exact same location and the top indicating seat location. We believe these to be cancellations done at the time the games were played. Block of tickets have been rated AUTHENTIC by PSA.
