Interesting original wire photo from the 1920's picturing two of the greatest in their sports, Babe Ruth and Knute Rockne. Babe is helping Rockne with a new set of clothes. 6 3/4" by 9 1/2" black and white photo is in excellent shape, aside from one crease in the lower left corner that does not effect any of the image. Back is stamped from "Wide World Photos" and also "Newark Sunday Call" and dated September 28. Several pencil notations are on the back including "Babe Ruth and Rockne" and "at the opening of Babe Ruth's clothing store in Ft. Lauderdale. Would display nicely once framed and matted.
