1) Pair of albums. One is vintage1910 with 30+pages, the other more modern with 40+ pages. Both are loaded with circa 1909-10 newspaper articles and photos. There is a heavy emphasis on the Pittsburgh Pirates with an incredible amount of period photos. Among the stories are articles and photos from the 1909 World Series between Pittsburgh and Detroit, including box scores.
2) 20 page program from 1910 for a game between the World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates and the Philadelphia Phillies. Program has portrait photos of all the Pirate players and a great shot of Forbes field. The piece is literally filled to capacity with period advertisements. It has been neatly scored in pencil. Program about VG- shape but the front 10 pages have had about 1/2" sliced off the outside border.
Interesting look at early Pittsburgh history.
