1914 Cracker Jacks are among the most notoriously condition sensitive pre-war sportscard issues. High grade examples are incredible hard to find due to their thin paper stock and the fact that they were only made available by insertion inside boxes of sticky caramel coated product. One of Ty Cobb's most visually impressive cards, this example is completely free of the staining that typically affects so many of its contemporaries. Cobb's image is sharp with a near photographic quality. The dark red background is flawless, surrounded by clean, white borders. This is one of only six examples graded PSA 8 NM-MT with none better.
